Holier than thou

No one is blaming the government for the typhoon and yes we understand we have limited resources because we are a 3rd world country. But we are not alone...almost the entire world is backing us up...all they have to do is implement it and make use of the donations and make sure it falls in the proper areas/people who needs it. We cannot blame our people for being vigilant and overly doubtful about where all the donations will go because of all the fiasco happening with our government. And we have all the right to question their actions because it is in their JOB DESCRIPTION to do all this things. Being in the government is not about the prestige of being a nations leader...it's not about the title nor the image of authority. It's a JOB just like what we have and what we do daily. It's just that what they do affects every citizen of this country. Don't forget that they have their jobs because we put them there...they applied for this job and we expect them to do it properly and in order. As what our president said..."tayo ang boss niya" we have all the right to question his performance as our employee.

Really I don't know why anyone would run for a seat in the government unless you have a heart of gold for helping people which I doubt. They started with the wrong intention so nothing can possibly go right along the way.

So stop whining about people questioning the government about their actions. If you wanna give help...give it without expecting any reward or praises from your friends. You do not have to post it on facebook that "hey I gave this and that to the typhoon Yolanda victims". Shutting the f%*k up means you're giving in to whatever wrong our government is doing. Criticizing them is helping the entire nation in making sure they get the kind of service they deserve. The power of social media is stronger than ever.

Do not use this "blaming the government" line just to tell the world of your good intentions because it's really lame. I don't know if it makes you feel good but really the government helping our country and you helping our country are two different things. It's their job...and yours is just voluntary.

It's a God given right!

Our government under pressure

We can't trust our government with anything related to money.
We can't rely on them when it comes to national calamities.
We can't rely on them on enforcing our laws and in keeping peace and order.
We can't rely on them for any help unless they need something from you.
We can't rely on our government for anything.

Then kindly answer this simple question...what's your purpose?

Battle of the bird brains

Was reading a forum regarding Iphones and Android phones...people kept on debating on which is better, stable, fast, etc...for pete's sake! They are both phones that can call, send a text message, can play movies, take pictures, and go online. I have nothing against Iphone in particular but the way they argue about it...come on admit it...it was just like how they differentiate Smart from Globe before...it's a social status, jedi vs darkside, Canon vs Nikon one being the pang "Mayaman" "Sosyal" "Elite" and the other being "Jologs" "para sa masa (pang mahihirap)"...it was never a tech battle but more on the "SIKAT AKO" factor. Filipinos love this shit! LOL! = )

What is life to you?

We let each and every day pass by working, working and working harder to earn and be able to provide for our loved ones and acquire the material things that each of us want. Everyone on this planet will one day reach the end and realize that all that really matters in this world is not money...not the valuable things that we have acquired...but time...time to spend with the people you love...time to do the things you enjoy...every second the clock ticks we are losing it and wasting plenty of it...maybe we should start taking a different perspective in life and spend a little more time enjoying it don't you think?

Proper education is the key to a brighter future

I think DepED should change the way our schools teach our kids. More than arming our kids with all academic knowledge...they should be teaching our youngsters a little more of social skills, etiquette, decision skills and respect...a lot of people nowadays don't have any of these traits anymore...they have great scientific and mathematical skills, great in grammar and speech but not a tiny bit of common sense and manners. Balance my friend...balance is the key!

Hahahahaha.
