No one is blaming the government for the typhoon and yes we understand we have limited resources because we are a 3rd world country. But we are not alone...almost the entire world is backing us up...all they have to do is implement it and make use of the donations and make sure it falls in the proper areas/people who needs it. We cannot blame our people for being vigilant and overly doubtful about where all the donations will go because of all the fiasco happening with our government. And we have all the right to question their actions because it is in their JOB DESCRIPTION to do all this things. Being in the government is not about the prestige of being a nations leader...it's not about the title nor the image of authority. It's a JOB just like what we have and what we do daily. It's just that what they do affects every citizen of this country. Don't forget that they have their jobs because we put them there...they applied for this job and we expect them to do it properly and in order. As what our president said..."tayo ang boss niya" we have all the right to question his performance as our employee.
Really I don't know why anyone would run for a seat in the government unless you have a heart of gold for helping people which I doubt. They started with the wrong intention so nothing can possibly go right along the way.
So stop whining about people questioning the government about their actions. If you wanna give help...give it without expecting any reward or praises from your friends. You do not have to post it on facebook that "hey I gave this and that to the typhoon Yolanda victims". Shutting the f%*k up means you're giving in to whatever wrong our government is doing. Criticizing them is helping the entire nation in making sure they get the kind of service they deserve. The power of social media is stronger than ever.
Do not use this "blaming the government" line just to tell the world of your good intentions because it's really lame. I don't know if it makes you feel good but really the government helping our country and you helping our country are two different things. It's their job...and yours is just voluntary.
